Premiere Cares launches raffle campaign in support of brain cancer research
Giving back to the community has always been important to the Premiere Mortgage Family. Over the years we have supported many deserving charities and individuals in need of our love and support.
This initiative is especially dear to our hearts as we have lost a few of our agents due to cancer.
In 2015 we lost one of our founders, Dave MacVicar to brain cancer. Dave was a pioneer in the mortgage industry, raising the bar and opening doors in Atlantic Canada with his leadership and mentorship.
His journey in the mortgage business involved a 20 year career with Scotiabank and CIBC before becoming a founding partner at Premiere Mortgage Centre in 2006. Losing his battle with brain cancer in 2015, at the early age of 49, left a hole in the hearts and minds of all who knew him.

“This is why I love the mortgage industry! Not only are we unified in ensuring that we are giving sound advice as a collective industry, with the purpose of helping Canadians with their biggest financial decision, but we also believe in giving back,” says Rich Spence, MCC President.

“So many within our industry have felt cancer’s impact as either a patient or as a care giver. We are proud to help make a difference by supporting brokers and industry participants by matching their raised funds for cancer research through the MPC Foundation Dollar Matching Program.”
Daryl Harris, Chair of the Mortgage Professionals Canada Foundation board of directors.
