MPCF Dollar Matching FAQ

What is the dollar matching program approval process?

Each application will be reviewed by the MPCF team.  Once approved, please expect a member of the MPCF team to communicate with you so that we can create the secure donation collection page on the Canadian Cancer Society platform.

 

What is the program criteria?

MPCF is seeking to support fundraisers or activities created by individuals or companies benefiting cancer research.  Your fundraiser must collect funds using the MPCF created CCS donation page in order to qualify for the dollar match program.

Each application will also be assessed and approved at the discretion of the MPCF committee.

 

What fundraisers or activities won’t qualify?

Participation in existing fundraisers fall outside the MPCF Dollar Matching Program criteria.  For example participation in the CIBC Run for the Cure will not qualify for dollar matching.  However if you are raising funds by hosting a company run or donating a portion of your income, these activities would generally be approved.

Each application will also be assessed and approved at the discretion of the MPCF committee.

 

How will MPCF help promote my fundraiser?

MPCF will post your fundraiser on our website as well as promote and support through our social media channels.  If you have specific ideas on how the volunteer team at MPCF can help you raise more money, please email us with details.
